Join Us In The Garden!

The Kids Corner Garden
presented by the Please Touch Museum

Saturday & Sunday, July 29 & 30, 11:30am-6pm

@ The Camden Children's Garden
Camden Waterfront, NJ

Join Kids Corner host Kathy O'Connell, librarian Joe Hilton, All-Natural Science Guy Mike Weilbacher and more as we plant ourselves inside the beautiful oasis that is the Camden Children's Garden - Saturday and Sunday, July 29 and 30 - as part of the XPoNential Music Festival!

The Camden Children's Garden is designed for children and families. It is a special place to explore and discover the natural world. The four-acre garden provides horticultural experiences for creative and imaginative play.

The Garden includes three indoor attractions, the popular Philadelphia Eagles Four Seasons Butterfly House, the tropical exhibit, Plaza de Aibonito and Ben Franklin’s Secret Workshop. Other exhibits include a Dinosaur Garden, Maze, Tree House, Picnic Garden, CityScapes Garden, Storybook Gardens and the Fitness Garden. Visitors can round out their visit by riding the Carousel, Train and the Spring Butterfly Ride.

This year we are excited to welcome our friends at The Please Touch Museum as a presenting sponsor of the Kids Corner Garden weekend. They are hard at work creating unique, interactive activities to entertain kids. One thing for certain - join the Please Touch crew under the BIG Tent for some much needed shade (for the adults) as the kids explore the Imagination Playground! It's a world of giant blue foam blocks where the possibilities for play are endless. What will you construct? How high will it be? How will you play with it?

Also joining us again are our friends at Rock To The Future ... they will be showcasing their Musical Zoo - a chance for kids to get up close to a wide selection of instruments - and even learn how to play! Plus kids will be able to make their own instruments that they can take with and use throughout the musical weekend!

WXPN/Kids Corner will also offer FREE face painting and glitter tattoos - direct from the creative hands of Jane from Fabulous Faces - on site both days Noon-4pm

Want to see if you have a Green Thumb? Our Gardening Guru Jeff Clarke of the Camden Children's Garden joined us at the start of spring to talk about - what else - GARDENING!
