The Kids Corner Music Festival
with support from The Franklin Institute

In March 2011 the Kids Corner Music Festival made its debut at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia. We presented some of the newest sounds on Kids Corner to a sold-out room and had a blast with families from all across our listening area!

The response was so strong that we hosted a second Kids Corner Music Festival in November, taking it to Delaware and World Cafe Live at The Queen in Wilmington. Over 800 people joined us for some great new music for families!

After that, we knew it was time to look to the future --- and we began planning the 2012 Kids Corner Music Festival series. It starts with our next festival, Saturday March 10 at Philly's newest music hall, Union Transfer!

ROLIE POLIE GUACAMOLE

Rolie Polie Guacamole is a laughable, lovable, Brooklyn-based group. Rolie Polie Guacamole engages kids and their parents in one of the most memorable sing-along sessions ever seen! A visual mix of musical delights, Rolie Polie Guacamole has grown from their start back in 2007, into a well-loved childrens band that plays music all kids can relate to ... don't miss it! (11am start)

THE FUZZY LEMONS

Get ready to jump, wiggle, and shake with The Fuzzy Lemons, the juiciest family-friendly rock band on the scene! With laugh-out-loud lyrics and memorable melodies, every song tells a story and every show is full of fun, inspiring kids of all ages to dance and sing along with music the whole family will love! (Noon start)

ROY HANDY
& THE MOONSHOT

On stage, Roy Handy & the Moonshot make every kid feel like they’re part of the show. Enjoy the energy of a real rock and roll show that connects with kids. Expect sing-alongs and bark-alongs (really). Rest assured—you will find yourself smiling quite a bit when these guys perform because that’s what people do at a Roy Handy & the Moonshot show! (1pm start)

Free Make & Take Crafts!

On top of some great live music, there will be FREE make & take craft stations, thanks to our friends at The Arden Theatre and The Philadelphia International Children's Festival. Also, creative balloon sculptures - for free - in the lobby, courtesy of Kids Corner and WXPN-FM!

Yummy Food Available Too!
