Trout Fishing In America

Trout Fishing In America - Trout Fishing in America is the long-standing musical partnership of Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet. The name, taken from a Richard Brautigan novel, seems almost as incongruous as a picture of this musical duo: Ezra Idlet (guitar) stands six feet eight inches and Keith Grimwood (bass), five feet five and one half inches. Ezra is more playful and extroverted while Keith is more serious and reserved. Each of them bring out the best in the other and the joy that comes from this musical interaction is contagious and impossible to deny. The duo has earned four GRAMMY Nominations and recently released “Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers”. Try saying that five times fast! The CD features tongue twisters, mind-benders, spooky situations and instantly identifiable slices of a kid’s life.

Dan Zanes

Dan Zanes - GRAMMY Award Winning artist Dan Zanes has been making homemade family music and encouraging his friends and neighbors to do the same for some time. He's the guy who is always interested in singing along with people everywhere, which brings us to his mission, if you can call it a mission: Zanes is introducing his musical friends to his neighborhood friends and then showing everybody not just that they can play together but that they can also feel pretty good while doing so. In this sense, Zanes is a twenty-first century version of the guy, who in the old days, used to conduct the town band from the gazebo - he is a ringmaster, introducing new songs and reconnecting people to songs that have always been there, and still are—it’s just that people forgot about them.

Lucky Diaz

Lucky Diaz - Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band have been crowned the very first Americans to ever win a Latin GRAMMY in the children’s album category! Lucky Diaz and Alisha Gaddis, a married couple, have been named ‘THE face of kindie music’ by the Washington Post, ‘Superstars’ by Red Tricycle, ‘The Rolling Stones of Kids Music’ by the Style Network, and PEOPLE Magazine called their album the #1 in coolest kids music! They create indie music sounds that are rooted in their whimsical child-friendly imaginations. 2013 was a smashing success for the group in the commercial market as well. Iconic brand Coca-Cola chose Lucky’s song “Falling” as their national summer campaign anthem playing on television and movie theatres everywhere.

Jennifer Gasoi

Jennifer Gasoi - 2014 GRAMMY Award Winning and two-time JUNO nominated singer/songwriter Jennifer Gasoi is quickly making a name for herself in the world of children’s music. Jennifer has a unique gift for writing and performing upbeat, intelligent, jazz-based children’s songs that adults love too. The lyrics are clever, the melodies catchy, and the rhythms undeniably danceable. Since moving from Vancouver to Montreal in 2002, Jennifer has established herself as one of the hottest children’s entertainers in Montreal. She has developed a devoted and adoring fan base that includes children, parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends of all ages. Her ability to appeal to kids and adults alike is one of Jennifer’s most unique and endearing qualities.

Justin Roberts

Justin Roberts - GRAMMY Nominated Justin Roberts is truly one of the "all-stars" of the indie family music scene. He logs thousands of miles on the road each year, leading some to call him the hardest working man in children's show business. With numerous national awards and recognition and a devoted fan base, Justin and The Not Ready for Naptime Players dish out intelligent and whimsically rocking music for kids and their parents. Justin's latest CD Recess rocks with gigantic electric guitars, intricate vocal harmonies, and impossibly catchy melodies that will burrow deep into your brain.
